Two managed local Facebook groups
ActiveBuy-and-sell communities with roughly 29,000 combined group memberships. That figure is memberships, not unique people — the same person is often in both, and we never pretend otherwise.
Our network
Capital Corner runs a connected set of local channels. A campaign travels through the ones that fit your business — and every channel below is labelled honestly: what runs today, what's being proven, and what's still on the drawing board.
The inventory
Buy-and-sell communities with roughly 29,000 combined group memberships. That figure is memberships, not unique people — the same person is often in both, and we never pretend otherwise.
The network's own page: dedicated business posts, weekend what's-on editorial and Community Choice results, each carrying tracked campaign links.
Our discovery platform for local events, activities and businesses — a separate product this site already reads live data from.
The weekly editorial question and results. Sponsorship is being piloted with strict rules: sponsors never influence nominations or results.
Business interviews, Reels and social content — being developed, and labelled a pilot until it has earned its place.
Relevant posts into around eight independently managed local groups, where each group's own rules permit. Optional distribution, never guaranteed inventory.
Event partnerships, sponsorship placements and roller banners at confirmed events and approved locations, with photographic proof of placement.
A print relaunch is planned. Previous print runs reached around 15,000 homes — that's historical distribution, and we won't quote it as current reach until the presses run again.
How it connects: one campaign gets its own tracked links per channel, so you see where attention actually came from — and everything rolls up into one honest report. That's the whole idea.
No channel is sold as live until it is. When we say a number, we'll tell you what it counts — memberships are not unique people, deliveries are not readers, and a click is not a customer.
This chapter of the new Capital Corner site is being built. In the meantime, the fastest way to get the full picture is a conversation.
